Hearing God's Voice

Over the 5 years that I walk with GOD, I have always desire how to hear God's voice and now it is my joy to share that I can now understand how to hear GOD's voice.


I lie down to take a few minutes from my work and a sudden thought come to my mind to go a to a person that I was not even introduced to. I wondered if this is just my thought.Yes,it is! But after a while, there is still that feeling that this is not really my idea, so I asked GOD, LORD is this really your word?
Again, there is another impression that says "Yes, this is my word for you".
So what I did, I got my Bible and read it.

The word that stuck to me was "The fruit of a righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30" . From that verse, I know GOD reminded me to reach out for other people. But I am still denying it, and said to GOD, "LORD, come on I have so many things to do. You know that I still have to maximize my earnings. If I go there, I will be losing a few dollars and besides I don't even know that person.One thing also I am already tired and very sleepy? How will I even introduced myself?"

I denied what God was telling me to do and still there is that emotion to obey God. I called a friend, a person with deep faith in God and spoke of the situation. She said she believes it is the Word of God for me and advised me to follow what God has said. With that I obeyed the Word of God, but with doubt, and I just went out of obligation.

I went to the person's house 3 times but I was not able to talk to him. I haven't had a chance to meet the person and told GOD, " Lord you see I was just wasting my time and lost a few dollars ". With that statement, I was answered, can you still not see the power that I have and what I can do? You just received a closed deal transaction of 2.5M house for your real estate business in just 1 day?

The next day, I have a friend who asked me if I could help a little investigation, because she suspected her husband was having an affair with another woman, and it may be too late. I already advised her that I can not do it and what she can do is just pray. But my friend really insisted and even went to the house to get some help. I have no choice but to submit to what she wanted, but she was not able to gather any information at all. With what happened, she shared me her current situation. During our conversation, I encouraged her so much.

After the conversation ended,I was wondering why am I advising and encouraging a person who is very much older than me and who has been married if I am not mistaken for about 16 years already. I asked GOD again,why is this happening and why am I advising person about marriage when I was just married for just 8 years. Again, I was looking for an answer and what I did was to read his word.

GOD's answer for me are these verses:

....I raised you up for this very purpose , that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.Romans 9:17

...How beautiful are the feet for those who bring good news! Romans 10:15

With these words, it is very clear to me that GOD wanted me to reach out for people and bring the good news. Having this instruction, I need to take 1 step of faith with my walk with GOD. I pray now that GOD will lead me and that I can fully obey his commands.

My Reflections:

1. Obey GOD's command with all my heart and to follow him completely in HIS time.

2. GOD is very powerful and that HE can make shortcuts with whatever you desire.

3. GOD really works amazingly and all I have to do is obey him. As of this writing,
I just got a client from my online
business with a $10 hourly rate for a 10 hours work.

See how GOD works amazingly ? Until then on my next journey as I follow GOD's command.
